Lightweight Waxed Jacket

This minimal take on our waxed jacket delivers a clean, classic style. The cosy quilted lining features a layer of traceable British wool, adding extra warmth for autumn and winter. HD® Wool’s Evolve Active Insulations are made from fully traceable British wool specifically designed to replace polyester wadding.

Details include a curved hem and yoke panel at the back, a contrast cord collar, popper fastening down the front and adjustable cuff straps. We’ve added broad welt pockets and an internal patch pocket for practicality, making this the perfect all-day over-layer.

Waxed cotton is a durable, long-lasting fabric that has been infused with a blend of waxes and oils. Our wax cottons have a traditional waxy handle finish, crafted to help protect you against the elements. The material is naturally breathable that adjusts to the ambient temperature, so it gets softer and more breathable in warm weather and stiffer and more wind resistant in cold conditions.
